Having worked careers in Law Enforcement, Neil Brodin and Danielle Rodgers understood that the job of public service meant spending a lot of the time on the street working side-by-side with firefighters, ambulance drivers, EMT workers and others, as more of a larger “team” response. The work of the Studios now, therefore, continues a kind of sharing in creating sculpture that covers both professions, and we are proud to say that many large Monumental projects and sadly Memorials have been made into joint projects where a life-size sculpture of a police officer in uniform stands next to a firefighter in full turn-out gear. Miniature statues for special awards and retirements are available for individual firefighters, of course, however, we have not built them in such an array of special designs as we have with law enforcement. Hopefully, if you’re reading this, you might ask us to remeady that situation and commission us to create special statue tributes to your profession (remember, there is never an up-front “art” charge for anything we create for the first time), after all, you “know” your equipment and talents on the job better than we do.
