The LEO Foundation Award was created for the Law Enforcement Officers Charitable Foundation, Inc. to honor the law enforcement community of Miami-Dade County.  They work in conjunction with the Miami-Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police.  They provide funding for various charitable organizations and the Police Officers Assistance Trust.
