Vietnam Era Bronze Military Field Cross

We recently had the honor of reproducing a Vietnam Era life-size bronze Military Field Cross.  The first picture below shows the M-1 helmet mounted on top of the M16 rifle with bayonet.  The second picture shows the bronze life-size Jungle boots.  This particular monument is for the personal use of a retired Colonel to display in his own back yard.

I’m the gentleman of whom Nick is speaking… I am extremely proud to say that the Vietnam era Field Cross is mine. I approached Brodin Studios approximately 5 months ago and asked IF he thought he could design a Field Cross to honor my fallen friends from Vietnam. I wanted a Field Cross authentic to the Vietnam War. I wanted it to include the M-16 we used… the helmet with the camo cover… jungle boots… even the bayonet needed to be authentic to Vietnam. He said he could. After talking with him… I BELIEVED he could. I now have possession of my Field Cross and am working with a memorial company to get the granite base installed so I can have my Field Cross installed. Very soon the Field Cross will sit in my front yard… fully illuminated from dusk to dawn.

The Field Cross that Brodin Studios has delivered to me is ABSOLUTELY FIRST CLASS in every respect. The quality and workmanship is ABSOLUTELY the finest. Nick is truly a man of his word. He did EVERYTHING he said he would do… including keeping me fully apprised of every important detail of his work… and sending me photos of his progress in every step of the process. Perhaps most importantly… he has helped me fulfill a 40 year promise I made to my fallen “brothers” in Vietnam… to find a way to honor them everyday.

Again… I HIGHLY recommend Brodin Studios. In making that recommendation… please know I am now considering another project for Nick.
